We’re always looking to utilise new products, materials and techniques and whilst researching for a unique project that required a different process to achieve what the client was requesting, we came across a local business named Uniframe, and chose to use its light gauge steel framework solution.
We were so impressed with the efficiency, speed and cost that we’ve since used it on several other projects.
The main benefits in comparison to a traditional technique is that its prefabricated offsite, which saves vital time and money onsite. As well as the reduced labour cost, the material itself is more durable than wood, brick or concrete, and doesn’t degrade or decompose over time.
With that in mind, there are also environmental gains as there’s less waste material, which makes it a more sustainable source and last of all its versatility allows for added creativity. As a result, we would always recommend using this product in a project where possible.
