Andrea took a lead role in the RIBA Plan of Work design Stages 4 and 5 for a new main office building based in High Holborn, London. Regular design team meetings and meetings with the client team were had on a weekly basis where design changes/coordination issues were addressed. Andrea took a lead role in putting forward various structural options to the architect to ensure the structure is efficient.

The Design
Consisting of a reinforced concrete basement to serve as a plant area for both services and deliveries, with the seven floors consisting of steel frames with precast planks and RC cores to provide lateral stability to the building.
There is also a separate reinforced concrete frame residential tower to the rear right-hand corner of the site.
